Precious Moments Pt 1
Was feeling very vexed after 2 whole days of wrestling with my laptop. Rebooting it for upteen times and re-installing relevant softwares just to get the bare minimum work done. Luckily i still have a meeting-up to look forward to.
Firstly, i didn't have to drive cos WK was driving! yeah manz! so i waited for him to come fetch me before we go fetch Sai from her workplace. (Such luxury, as i'm alwiz the one fetching pple. =P)
Hopping on WK's wagon, we arrived at Tg Pagar within 25 mins and saw our dear Sai waiting... everytime we meet up, she will have a new hairdo... RETRO's in and now she's with the same hairstyle as when she was in njcsb. haha, coloured now of course.
Next we went to have dinner at a nearby Thai Restaurant. Not bad choice, though the lemongrass salad's lingering taste seemed a little bit too much for us to take more. haha. We got full soon after a little bit of everything...
After dinner was a walk down .. yes.. Chinatown... where WK wanted to find this World Cafe that his colleague had recommended. It's not a bad place with good ambience, but too bad there isn't any performances that night. So that explains the "silence" in the cafe.

We were brought around by enthusiasts, who were eager to show us their "specialties". Not their Cakes or Coffee, but the range of instruments they have in this corner of the cafe. They had banjos, ukuleles, African Drums, mini harps and there was this tongue drum that caught my eye. maybe i was just suaku, but the sounds these stuffs make was quite amazingly beautiful. Had fun playing around with the instruments. Then the nice guy brought us to the studios upstairs which they were still preparing for. Jamming room, Workshop classroom and along the walkway, they have these few different sizes of African Marimba, which was quite fun too! i didn't have a chance to take some fotos though!
