Time of the Year

Now that i recalled this notification letter from the hospital reminding me of the appointment on Friday morning. I was turning my room upside down for it as i know i had left it somewhere around my lappie... and there it was snugly tucked underneathe the lappie jacket. gosh.. how did it end up in such a discreet place.

Oh well... i hope its not some quacko docs i had met some months back... hopefully its the funny ang mor auntie... and i do hope i do not have to wait 2 or 3 hours for a few minutes of chatting-up.

Must remind myself to get a letter to prove that im not going to die the next second...for the quacko hospital in a year's time... or rather another half a year more before i am due for the watever yearly review.

Well the physical side of me had not been perfectly fine since my primary school days. Remembered those days when i was so envious of classmates running around in games... that fact that i have to sit through the dog and bone games or similar upsets me... I even remember begging my parents to let me play badminton only... and that hated letter that was stapled in my health booklet... and those were the days.

Finally i was discharged from the student clinic and didnt need to have machines reading me all the time, i had to report back in for another problem... and that followed me till now... before they rectify my problem, i was told that i had "graduated" from the student clinic and had to join the NUH's related clinic...
and there i was reporting either half yearly/ yearly depending on my condition for at least a decade now.

Emotionally i suffered in those early days when the doc had talks with my parents and of course counselling with me and things like that... and that probably contributed to some of the outlook on life i have now. Then again, now it's all children-crying-for-mama-matters to me and hey i have a good life now.

It does affect me a little bit now even but i had come to terms with it...
I just had to put up with some uncontrollable emotional moments and some freakin' f***ing pains now and then. If my emotions had affected any ard me, i apologise for all these... but i do not have any reasons to blame it too.

Anyway. This post does not expect any kind of sympathy.
i am not dying... not till i live to a ripe old age.
