The Certified Love

Frankly, marriage is just a certificate.

But we all know the truth that it's more than just that.

It's more than just you and the other half.

It's probably more than just your family and the other.

What thrown me off the seat was the template-fied marriages that we are seeing now.

The ROM-HDB-CUSTOMARY is the norm.

Photoshoot, videographer, gatecrash, tea ceremony and dinners are the musts.

I cringed at the thought that everyone is obsessed with the plannings and stuffs that everyone around them gets affected. I cringed even more when i think of all the companies rendering such services tapping on and earning millions on this psyche of loved birds. I squirmed in my seat thinking i may even be one of these victims next time if i ever choose to sign the certificate.

I don't deny the allergy to marriage.
allergy to married men/women's psyche.
allergy to the tendency of elevating themselves after they signed the cert.

allergy to the template-fied life that is clinged so dear to them.

But i swear deep down in my heart.

LOVE is never justified with a piece of certificate.

Yes we alwiz hear deadly comments about people who stay single.

But even them, has love, no matter deep down in their hearts or what.

Who are we to judge that they have no love or emotions.

Probably those who judged are those who thought love was secured with a piece of certificate and that they were legalised to put down others who did not choose to do it.

Remember those early college days when dad sat me down to discuss.

I beg to differ from the kind of template-fied life that i was supposed to have.

i don't believe that 生命就是这样。

搞不清楚这样哪里好；那样又哪里不好。

it was only when i was older when i realised the point he was coming from.

it was only natural that all parents have this mentality.

i totally see his point. but...

So Life gets template-fied too when this spreads.
u were born with a template.
u grew up with gold/silver spoon, stainless steel spoon or even no spoon.
u studied hard so u get to a good college.
u graduated with honours so u get good interviews.
u worked hard so u receive good deals from bosses.
u cracked ur brains to attract the correct one.
u lived ur life with screaming kids that u called yours.
and that will all end when the above almighty presses X on ur template file.
and he waits for u to come to him.

The almighty probably made us this way when technology advances up there too.
Where soft copies and templates are the in thing.
Well, it'd probably be easier living a template-fied life.
and living with a certified love.
That's human alright.
