Knew that this was hidden right in the last compartment of my document box. It had been there since the day i stepped down. Had not opened it for various reasons and of course there was no need. Till i was rummaging through to find another important document, i conveniently left it on the table and forgot about it until i sat down infront of the computer.

pardon the clarity of the photos. blurred for confidentiality.

Count your blessings, not your worries.
A mini card that reminded me day in day out during that horrendous one year term. As i flipped through the book... there are things that i don't remember the least bit and there are things that were scalded on me for the rest of my life. oh well, selective amnesia i guess.

Calendar of Events
Actually i really loved this part of my alma mater.
Though they are rigid, but its so rigid that they can produce this that all can follow. Seldom there will be changes, almost never. So every teacher and student can plan things so well that we don't have any excuses for anything...

Evidences of EXTRA-curricular-activities
it was called ECA rather than CCA, but why did we have to slog so hard then when it was EXTRA? and now its CO-curricular, not many give a damn! oh well, i hope they will live to regret someday.

Anonymous Strength
Till now i really don't remember who had left these words in my notebook.
It's definitely not my handwriting and definitely not me suffering under schizophrenia.

It's back to those days of medal grabbing/worshipping/whatever.
Through DS's anxiety and worries these few days about the tension, can't help but siGh. The obsession for some is unbelievable. What has these competitiveness done to not just our growing kids, and also those who are related to this line? Competition does encourage continuous improvements but it will also have its negative effects. This is a big major event for eons and many parasitic issues made it hard to be totally scrapped. I remember i felt nothing when the results was announced. i probably took it for granted then. but i never really thought of what was i to react if we did not receive what we had desired. i began to think of this more often these days. we shouldnt take things for granted and think that everything falls into place so simply.

Things are getting complex day by day, and so Life gets tangled up and feeling really screwed... but we must still believe... we must do it.
