Hand-Held Family
It was just the other day when we saw this funny looking cartridge @ a game shop in Sembawang Shopping Center... it was those days when me and kor were enjoying / fighting ourselves away on the chiong tv-game when we didn't have that much $ to get a nintendo / sega game console. Our cousins / neighbours had nintendos and segas but we enjoyed ourselves pretty much the same with the chionged one...
The first REAL game console came in when kor was in NS... he got the PS1 all by himself with his meagre pay then... later it was inherited by my mom (playing only the balloon game and mr driller) after he got his XBOX console during his Uni days... PS1 had many fun games and we alwiz manage to get fun games in pasar malams!(that includes the Mr driller that mommy was addicted to later on) but XBOX was so different... couldnt play most of the games and HALO made me sick... cos of the moving around which was so nauseatic! gosh! the only game i played most was SIMS URBZ which later kor SOLD IT AWAY! but anyway i had completed it so never mind...
It was only this year when i decided to relive the mario craze by getting the chio Nintendo DS LITE... and later on i paid half of kor's console and we have 2 sets in the family now! The loads of games! FUN FUN FUN! and my parents are hooked on tetris!! Linking 2 sets was fun!! FIGHT!! The latest craze now is the fighting for the highest points for the Marathon mode in Tetris!! HOHOHO! no one can beat my hi-score for it as yet!! daddy just didn't want to admit defeat and was trying to beat it on xmas day! its super addictive though it's really strenous on the eyes! and u won't be able to scratch even ur nose during the game! its just so exciting! haha...
& just the other day... kor got himself a PSP! Another hand-held!!
And we are just so hooked on that LUMINES II!! GOSH!
no wonder there's such a big market big $$!!
oh well... the point is... help!!! my family is in for a handheld game crisis!!!
haha... im off to beat my own hi-score now!
